Step Ahead Records is based in Washington, DC now Hoboken, NJ and international branch in Bangkok, Thailand. Started early 1995 with M.U. Express(Defender Records/UK) aka Sound Sessions Massive(Mephisto Records)'Family Crisis' debuted on Downtempo/Acid Jazz charted by DJ Chillfreez for Giant Step NYC on DMA/Mixmag/Mixer/DJ Magazines. Our Artists are Aou(M.U. Express/Sound Sessions Massive), David Crawford, Keith Kennebeck, 95 North, Palash(Chamber Of Sound), Farid(DC0), Waynes Wilentz Trio(Eric Hilton of Thievery Corp), Cavemen(Sharky), Jask, Kimani Wilson, T-Kolai, DJ Spen, DJ Oji, C&M Productions feat. Marcel and recently signed PM Project. Aou is now working with Sasha(Organic Grooves)for underground dubbed/ska/rocksteddy project and Desmond Williams of Brown Tempo.

Pakdee(label founder) relocated to Bangkok, Thailand and launch an international branch for global distribution and marketing.
